To submit your abstract/research paper for an oral or poster or young research presenter contribution to the CME/CPD accredited 13th Emirates Pathology & Digital Pathology Utilitarian Conference, please fill in your details in the abstract submission form. Once you submit your details, you can upload your abstract (format allowed: .doc / .docx / .pdf). The author’s account is must needed for communication purposes. Abstracts can be submitted by email. Speakers/Presenters can submit a maximum of three abstracts. All abstracts must be submitted in English. Please do not submit too many copies of the same abstract. All abstracts will be forwarded to the Scientific and Program Committee member for the review process. Once accepted, you will receive a confirmation email from our side.

Legend of Dermatopathology– Dr. Phillip McKee will present his Keynote talk at the 13th Emirates Pathology & Digital Pathology Utilitarian Conference (EPUCG2023).
Phillip McKee, MB, Bch, BAO, MD, FRCPath, qualified in medicine 1972 at Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland. This was followed by pathology training at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast and Membership of the Royal College of Pathologists in 1978. He then completed a Dermatopathology Fellowship at St John’s Hospital for Diseases of the Skin in London. He was appointed to the Faculty of St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in London in 1979 and subsequently to the Faculty of St John’s Hospital for Diseases of the Skin in 1992. In 1989 he was made Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and in 1992 was awarded his Doctorate in Medicine by Queen’s University of Belfast.
Dr. McKee was recruited to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston as Director of Dermatopathology and Associate Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School. While there he received NIH funding for his involvement in two major research studies.
Dr. Anil Parwani will present his Keynote talk at the 8th Emirates Pathology & Digital Pathology Utilitarian Conference (EPUCG2021).
Dr. Anil Parwani is a Professor of Pathology at The Ohio State University. He serves as the Vice Chair and Director of Anatomical Pathology. Dr. Parwani is also the Director of Pathology Informatics and Director of the Digital Pathology Shared Resource at The James Cancer Hospital. His research is focused on diagnostic and prognostic markers in bladder and prostate cancer, and molecular classification of renal cell carcinoma. Dr. Parwani has expertise in the area of surgical pathology, viral immunology and pathology informatics including designing quality assurance tools, bio banking informatics, clinical and research data integration, applications of whole slide imaging, digital imaging, telepathology, image analysis and lab automation.
The Honorable Dr. David J. Shulkin is the Ninth Secretary of the US Department of Veterans Affairs having been appointed by President Trump. Secretary Shulkin previously served as Under Secretary for Health, having been appointed by President Obama and confirmed twice unanimously by the US Senate.
As Secretary, Dr. Shulkin represented the 21 million American veterans and was responsible for the nation’s largest integrated health care system with over 1,200 sites of care, serving over 9 million Veterans.
